Krita Test
The next 3D render has left me with a lot of down time, so I thought I'd finish off a sketch that emerged while I was evaluating Krita mid-last year.

Eyeball
Unfortunately YouTube has not done this one much justice... enable HD to improve the picture quality a bit.

Face WIP
After a succession of interruptions I've finally managed to make some more progress on this guy. As before, it's just a proof of concept, so there's a myriad of temporary, incomplete or just plain missing bits. I saw fit to add some music this time, for whatever reason.

Website Mk IV
Now Powered by Blogger, or so the footer says. It's not quite as pretty as it was when it was powered by Wordpress, but it is faster, free-er, Google-er, and surrounded by a virtually impenetrable hacker-deflecting fortress (this should not be taken as an invitation to try hacking it, by the way).
Hackers Be Gone!
Disinfecting and rebuilding my site over and over is getting a mite
wearisome, so I'm terminating my Wordpress site and migrating everything
over to Blogger. In fact it's already there
- all that's left to do is to transfer the domain, which will be
happening shortly. When it does, any feeds will most likely cease and
need to be re-subscribed to.

New Button
Behold the Music Button. It leads to the Music Page, which I originally intended to add 6 years ago when I started the site. So far it is populated with 3 tracks: the results of a recent sound design experiment, a relaxation track I did in 2004, and the Christmas carol I already posted ages ago (which now has a pretty picture to go with it).

There will be more.

There will be more.

Hand WIP
| More from my personal person project. This was just supposed to be a rigging test, but then I got carried away and started texturing and things. So now it sits in that uncomfortable place somewhere in-between rough test and final product. |

Bottersnikes and Gumbles
A teaser has been released for an animated TV show being developed at Mighty Nice in Sydney, for which I contributed revamped character designs based on the original book illustrations, as well as some matte paintings.

Multipurpose Person Version 1.0
Here's something I just whipped up over the past decade. Well, I started it about a decade ago, but have been giving it some more attention recently.
Sculpted and textured in Sculptris, modelled and rendered in Lightwave, with some displacement baking help from Blender. Some more details on the Sculptris forum.
If playback is choppy, try here.
| I intend to continue refining and perfecting it indefinitely, for use as the basis for whatever humanoid characters I may need in the future. In this instance I've given him an Anatomy Tools inspired makeover as a detail test for my newly revised 3D workflow. It's a bit rough in places - that's what tests are all about. |
