Bottersnikes and Gumbles

A teaser has been released for an animated TV show being developed at Mighty Nice in Sydney, for which I contributed revamped character designs based on the original book illustrations, as well as some matte paintings.

  2. Wow! I can't wait. This is one of my favourite books and I love introducing it to my year 4 classes. It's a classic. Who is doing the voice overs as the Bottersnikes especially King has to have a very rough coarse almost vulgar voice. It's a must!

  3. No idea who's doing the voices, I expect we'll find out more in due course. I reckon Barry Humphries could probably do a good 'Snike if he swallowed a cup of gravel though.

  4. I used to love these books as a kid. Only realised there were more than two recently so have just bought Gumbles in Summer. Can't find Gumbles in Trouble though so hopefully as well as being a great series this will prompt a reprint!

  5. Hi! Your work is amazing!! Are you going to consider more published stories to put into animation or do you prefer coming up with your own scripts?

  6. I prefer my own scripts, when I can think of them!
